The Thunderbird is one of the most powerful beings in First Nations teachings — a supernatural force that carries thunder in its wings and lightning in its eyes. It flies in the highest realms of the Spirit World, watching over the land and delivering messages between the physical and spiritual planes. Among many nations, the Thunderbird is a guardian of truth and transformation, reminding us of the sacred connection between Earth and Sky.

This design also holds personal meaning — created to honour Lady of the Thunderbirds, our grandmother. She was a master beadworker, a teacher, and a survivor who walked for 9 days and nights in freezing conditions and survuved at just age 14. Her legacy is alive in every piece of jewelry that carries this sacred symbol, and her strength continues through our blood lines.

Each earring features a detailed Thunderbird design with fine cross-hatched engraving — a mark of both spirit movement and ceremonial energy. At the base of each piece, a semi-precious cabochon stone is carefully inlaid, grounding the design with Earth’s natural beauty and medicine.
