"I am honored to share my culture and appreciate when people show their respect by using products that feature my designs." Allan Weir is a Haida artist. Alan was born to the Raven clan of Old Masset. Alan has been apprenticing with the well-known Haida artist Christian White. He participates regularly in cultural events through singing and dancing. Alan's body of work includes sculpture and carving in argillite and cedar wood.

Alan's designs are deeply rooted in the Haida tradition yet his take on designing and creating in formline is innovative, fresh and bold.
