PANSAWAN is also known as 'dry meat' and has been a traditional staple in the diet of Aboriginal First Nations people since the beginning of the Turtle Island. During the cold winters season, Natives of North America would have survived on this 'dry meat' as it would stay naturally preserved and nutrient rich over many moons. We have maintained the natural integrity of this product with our inherited ways of DRYING and SMOKING this PREMIUM quality meat.
PANSAWAN is proudly hand-crafted on Treaty Six Territory in Alberta, CANADA.
PASAWAN is what we have learned to refer to 'dry meat' as in the Cree "Nehiyawan' language of our people.
