LOOSE TEA KANAKA RANCH

This herbal tea blend combines stinging nettles, rosehips, ginger root, and hibiscus flowers, named after the Nahanee Family's first urban farm/ranchette from the late 1800s. It’s designed for digestion, energy, and flavor. Stinging nettles are known for their benefits to skin, bone, and urinary health, thanks to their antioxidants and diuretic properties. Rosehips are rich in vitamin C, boost the immune system, and promote healthy digestion. Ginger root aids in digestion, reduces inflammation and enhances energy levels. Hibiscus flowers are packed with antioxidants, support heart health by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, and aid in digestion and weight management. To prepare, boil 2 cups of water, add 1 teaspoon each of dried stinging nettles, dried rosehips, fresh or dried ginger root, and dried hibiscus flowers, simmer for 10-15 minutes, strain, and sweeten with honey if desired.
