Date: Saturday February 19th, 2022
Time: 10am – 12pm
Cost: $40 per person
Age: 10+ Years
Details: Weave together a vibrant dream catcher with feathers, beads, sinew and a suede-wrapped hoop. Dream catchers are a craft shown to us from our neighboring First Nations trading partners who lived in the prairies and East Coast of Canada. They are hung in windows to allow good dreams to pass through while entangling bad dreams in the web which then perish at the first light of dawn.
Included: All guests will meet the Cultural Ambassador at the top of the hour and hear a welcome song, then watch a short film and take a guided tour of the museum. Materials to create the craft are included, along with admission to the exhibits, a lunch main in the café (Chili or Chowder with Bannock, Taco, or Panini), and 10% off in the gift shop.
