Troy Baker is from the Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) People. He currently resides on Capilano Reserve in North Vancouver, B.C. He was born in 1982. Troy started out young, he apprenticed under his father Richard Baker who is also a well-known Northwest Coast Jewellery and wood carver. To this day they create master pieces such as Plaques and totem poles.
