Eco Friendly Raven Transforming Jute Bag designed by Kelly Robinson, Nuxalk & Nuu-chah-nulth Nations.
Jute is the second most important vegetable fiber after cotton. Jute is an Eco-friendly alternative to all other synthetic bags due to it’s biodegradable nature. This is why young trees for planting are wrapped in Jute and inserted directly into the soil. It is non toxic and decomposes swiftly back into the soil.
In a time when darkness covered the land, a sly raven made a plan to turn himself into a hemlock needle and was ingested by a young maiden who then bore a son from this seed. Her Father held the light in a closed and guarded box. The young grandson convinced his grandfather to let him hold the closely guarded box and in this instant transformed himself back into the raven and escaped from the house with the light and put it back into the sky.
