Eagle & Whale Servers designed by Terry Starr, Tsimshian Nation.

  • Silver plated server spoon and fork
  • Measures 11.5″l x 2.5″w.
  • Presented in a Black Gift Box.

Caution: Please treat these servers with care and respect. Handwash and dry thoroughly. Do not place in dishwasher or use abrasive cleaners on them. These serving pieces are lead-free and food safe.

 

The Coastal Peoples rich tradition of sharing and gift giving has been the source of inspiration for these servers. Based on a traditional design, these servers are presented as a contemporary expression of a thriving culture and art form.

Terry Starr was born in Port Simpson, British Columbia in 1951. He is from the Gispax Laats tribe, Eagle clan of the Tsimshian nation. He began carving at an early age and was influenced by the wealth of art and cultural traditions still active in Port Simpson. Terry chose to study Business Administration and enrolled at Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia.
