Lemongrass is high in vitamin A. Used in aromatherapy to help support the immune system, lymphatics, the blood and circulation. May help to reduce depression, support connective tissues and help to reduce back pain.

CAUTION: Do not use on children under 2. Dilute well for those with sensitive skin.

The Story of Bear Medicine

The Mi’kmaq people, indigenous to Canada’s Maritime Provinces, share a story of how the bear became the keeper of plant medicine knowledge. In this teaching the bear is held with high regard as he enters into the dream realm for several months to commune with the spirit of the plants. When he returns and feast is prepared in his honor, a sharing of plant wisdom is given to the people.

About the Artist

Working with indigenous artist Morgan Asoyuf from the Tsimshian territory in B.C. we were able to create the symbol of the bear. This gave us the ability to honour the indigenous teachings that were largely influential in bringing this dream forward.
