Juniper Berry is used in aromatherapy to help the body to release toxic wastes, support the digestive system,  help to purify the urinary system. With its heating and fluid removing qualities it may be beneficial in reducing symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism. Also helpful in reducing the look of cellulite.

Born from a love and enthusiasm for the healing potential within plants, our aim is to help people connect with these amazing plant teachers and ultimately reawaken a connection to oneself, and the earth we live upon.

The Story of Bear Medicine

The Mi’kmaq people, indigenous to Canada’s Maritime Provinces, share a story of how the bear became the keeper of plant medicine knowledge. In this teaching the bear is held with high regard as he enters into the dream realm for several months to commune with the spirit of the plants. When he returns and feast is prepared in his honor, a sharing of plant wisdom is given to the people.

About the Artist

Working with indigenous artist Morgan Asoyuf from the Tsimshian territory in B.C. we were able to create the symbol of the bear. This gave us the ability to honour the indigenous teachings that were largely influential in bringing this dream forward.
