ROY HENRY VICKERS is a painter, printmaker, carver, design advisor, speaker, author, and respected leader in First Nations communities. He is the recipient of the Order of British Columbia, the Order of Canada, a Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and Honorary Doctorate of letters from York University. Vicker’s owns the Eagle Aerie Gallery in Tofino, BC, and resides in Hazelton, BC.
ROBERT BUDD (known as lucky) is the host of the CBC Radio series Voices of BC. Holding an MA in history, he has digitized many high-profile oral history collections including that of the Nisga’a First Nation. He is also the author of the books Voices of British Columbia (Douglas & McIntyre, 2014). He currently lives in Victoria, BC.
