Mountains are symbols of abundance. Saddlebags in the central stripe signify readiness for life’s travels. Diamonds signify the four mountains sacred to the Navajo. Centered on these traditional diamonds are butterflies, uplifting symbols of hope and life that carry wishes to the Great Spirit.
