MEDIUM TURTLE TEACHINGS EARRINGS

In Cree tradition, the turtle represents truth, one of the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Its shell, marked with 13 large plates symbolizing the 13 moons of the year, reflects our sacred connection to time, the land, and natural cycles. The turtle teaches us to move with patience, humility, and strength — staying grounded and living in alignment with truth.

This pair of earrings, titled Turtle Teachings, was created to honor those lessons. The original design was hand-carved and engraved in silver using traditional techniques that emphasize depth and detail. It was then digitally scanned for accuracy and refined before being cast through the lost wax method to ensure high-quality sterling silver reproduction.

Each pair is cast in .925 sterling silver, including the sterling silver ear hooks, ensuring both durability and comfort. The back of each earring is inscribed with the title Turtle Teachings, along with my artist signature and the 925 hallmark — a mark of authenticity, care, and cultural meaning.
