HERON – GRACE, PURITY & PATIENCE
The Heron is considered to be a very good omen, representing grace, purity and patience. Heron is inquisitive, determined and recognized as an expert fisher. The Heron goes with the flow and works with the elements.
You can identify Heron in Pacific Northwest Coast First Nations art by his long legs with one raised, long beak, and a feather on his head. Heron is always depicted in profile view.
