The Butterfly

The Butterfly is a feminine symbol of beauty, balance and grace.  Her unique ability of metamorphosis helps us to understand change and transformation.  The butterfly brings messages of things to come.

In Pacific Northwest Coast First Nations art, the Butterfly is depicted with outstretched wings and antenna.  She is often depicted surrounded by flora and fauna.
